Outdoor classroom day in Nursery

In Nursery today we enjoyed Outdoor Classroom Day. We focused on developing our physical skills.

For our fine motor skills we

hammered golf teas and leaves into pumpkins
caught conkers with grabbers and nets at the water tray
transfered conkers with grabbers at the maths table
pulled the trigger on the water pistols to make paintings
Painted stones
used spray bottles and turkey basters to move water

For our gross motor skills we

used our arm movements to wash the cars
stirred and baked in the mud kitchen
aimed at the paper with our water pistols
moved sand with the diggers and dumpers
used the large loose parts to make a train

As you can see we had lots of fun!
