An eggciting surprise!

11th May 2016

We went outside to find some very funny eggs in our playground... 'that's very strange' said one of the children.

We thought about what they might be...

"Maybe it's a snow dragon egg, or a T-Rex egg." "It's a wee baby dinosaur." "It feels icy and smooth." "A dragon could melt it with fire."

We decided to watch the eggs as we played outside. Later we thought about where they came from. Here are some of our ideas...

"Maybe a dragon left them"

"Maybe an aeroplane had them inside and they fell into our playground"

"Maybe the wind blew them here"

"Maybe the rain dropped them like a storm"

"Maybe a pterodactyl left them"

We watched the eggs crack and melt. We found something fuzzy and furry inside. We called them our wooly worms.

We looked after our worms carefully. We made them homes so they were safe.
