Orritor Primary School and Nursery Units are excited to announce the launch of our new initiative, ‘Excellent 8’. This program is designed to foster a sense of responsibility and personal growth among our pupils by setting weekly Responsibility Targets.

The ‘Excellent 8’ refers to our eight wonderful classes, ranging from Nursery to Primary 7. Each week, students will be presented with a new target to strive towards, with a total of seven distinct targets throughout the term. These targets are carefully crafted to promote independence, enhance listening skills, encourage kindness, and motivate students to become better learners by always trying their best.

Every Friday, one child from each class who has successfully achieved the weekly target will be recognised and celebrated. This recognition not only highlights their accomplishments but also inspires their peers to embrace these positive behaviors.

The ‘Excellent 8’ initiative aims to create a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and develop essential life skills. We believe that by encouraging our pupils to take on these responsibilities, we are helping them build a strong foundation for their future.
