Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are excited to announce that on Thursday, 6th March, we will be celebrating World Book Day at school! 🎉
As part of our festivities, we invite all children to dress up as their favourite book characters. Please don't feel the need to spend money on new costumes; old, borrowed, or handmade costumes are perfect! Our Eco Committee will also be organising a costume swap at school—more details on this will follow soon.
In addition, we have a fun and creative activity planned! We would love for each child to create a character from their favourite book using a potato as the base. Feel free to use any materials you have at home—paint, fabric, lollipop sticks, and more. The more inventive, the better! 🥔✨
When your child brings their potato character to school, we will display them in each classroom to showcase the wonderful range of characters created. There will be a prize for the best potato character in each class!
We can't wait to see all the amazing costumes and potato characters.
