We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding accomplishments of one of our students, Charlie, in his debut year of boxing competitions. Charlie has demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and sportsmanship, earning him a place among the top young boxers in the region and beyond.
Achievements:

- 9 Counties Champion
- Mid Ulster Champion
- Ulster Champion
These remarkable victories secured Charlie a spot in the prestigious Irish Championships. In the quarter-finals, he faced an exceptionally tough opponent—the son of World Championship medalist John Joe Nevin, who also served as his coach. Despite the challenging draw, Charlie boxed brilliantly and narrowly lost on a split decision.
Charlie can hold his head high, knowing he is the top boxer in Northern Ireland for his age and weight category and ranks among the top three in all of Ireland. This is a phenomenal achievement, especially in his first year of competitions.
