Tinsel Visit - Day 13

17th Dec 2024

Tinsel the Elf shared an exciting update with the boys and girls about the new library at their school. Tinsel couldn't resist sneaking in the night before to read all the wonderful books. By morning, just before the teachers arrived, Tinsel had finished the last book and felt like a 'Trillionaire' in reading, hoping Mr Cheevers would have a certificate ready in time.

While reading, Tinsel became so engrossed in a mystery book that time flew by unnoticed. As the sun began to rise, Tinsel had to quickly put all the books back in their places, feeling like a superhero librarian racing against the clock to ensure everything was perfect. He still needs a few to leave back but hopefully some of the children will help with this.

In another adventure, Tinsel found a book about pirates and decided to dress up as one, complete with a newspaper hat and a mop for a sword. Tinsel even tried talking like a pirate, saying "Arrr, matey!" to anyone who walked by, which scared a few mice but was all in good fun.

Tinsel encouraged the children to enjoy the new library, reminding them that every book is a new adventure waiting to be discovered.
