P2 looked after snails as part of their Growth and Minibeasts topic.
We named them Mushroom, Corona, Gary, Doug and Onion.
We discovered they needed chalk to give them calcium to keep their shells nice and strong. We fed them lots of cabbage and apples.
We had so much fun with our little snails.
We even had a snail race and Doug snailed it!
