Mike from World of Owls visited St. Peter’s, we joined in online. He taught us all about owls.
- there are three types of owls in Northern Ireland
- there are short eared owls and long eared owls
- owls can’t fly in the rain
- owls fly so quietly they can’t be heard.
He brought two owls to see us. Bowie the Barn owl and Harley the eagle owl.
Harley was very special because he was in Harry Potter.
After Mike’s visit we created our own owls with felt tips, water colours and feathers.
