In Nursery today we enjoyed Outdoor Classroom Day. We focused on developing our physical skills.
For our fine motor skills we
- hammered golf teas and leaves into pumpkins
- caught conkers with grabbers and nets at the water tray
- transfered conkers with grabbers at the maths table
- pulled the trigger on the water pistols to make paintings
- Painted stones
- used spray bottles and turkey basters to move water
For our gross motor skills we
- used our arm movements to wash the cars
- stirred and baked in the mud kitchen
- aimed at the paper with our water pistols
- moved sand with the diggers and dumpers
- used the large loose parts to make a train
As you can see we had lots of fun!
