Today the Nursery celebrated Outdoor Classroom Day. Here are some of the things we got up to...
🍁 We created large constructions and conker runs to explore gradient and movement.
🔨 We hammered leaves into boxes using golf tees. We did this high on a table so we had to reach up and use our arm muscles.
🎨 We painted vertically on our art frame. There were some fabulous creations.
🧹 We used the brushes to brush the autumn leaves, this makes our muscles strong.
🍂 We transported the leaves and conkers using the wheel barrow.
🍁 We created with clay and natural resources. The children made some fabulous creations including little hedgehogs.
🍂 We found leaves and took leaf rubbings.
🍁 Used the tongs to move the conkers.
🍓Had a picnic snack outside.
🍂 Had lots of autumn fun and learning.
