Our five senses Winter walk.
2nd Feb 2017
We went on a Winter walk. We used our five senses to look for signs of Winter.
We could see snowflakes falling from the sky and snow on the ground and trees. We saw tiny icicles hanging from the trees. We could see our breath when we spoke.
We could hear birds singing sweetly in the trees and the crunch of snow under our feet.
We could smell the fresh cold air.
When we touched the snow it felt cold.
We could feel the cold wind on our cheeks.
We tasted the snowflakes on our tongues as they fell from the sky, but we didn't taste the red berries on the bushes! We left them for the birds!!
Brrrr it was cold! Good job we all had our Winter clothes on - except Mr Wright!! (he looks cold, doesn't he?)
