The Nursery had lots of fun with 33 activities football.
We started with a warm up to get us ready. We had to listen carefully and complete a different action every time we came to a hula hoop on the ground - jump, hop, touch the ground and even jump up touch the sky!
We then got our special Nursery footballs. We had to bounce the balls in the hoops and catch them. Nursery did super listening and followed all the instructions from Rachael and Lilly.
Then we got to practice our football skills, we learnt how to dribble (take our footballs for a walk) and do two touches, putting one foot on the ball and then the other foot. That is our homework for next week to keep practising our two touches!
Finally we practiced our kicking skills by playing the team game In the Garden. We had to kick the ball and knock down as many cones (plants) as we could.
We had lots of fun learning new football skills and did super listening. Miss Thompson and Mrs Ferry were so proud. We can’t wait to see Lily and Rachael next week to see what skills we will get to practice.
