This week in Nursery we have been working on our fine motor skills, the little muscles in our hands and wrists. The muscles we need to strengthen to hold our pencils.
We used grabbers, tongs and tweezers to catch split peas. We also used our pincer grip (thumb and forefinger) to catch the peas and place them in the holes in the wood slices, flower pots and colanders.
We had lots of fine motor fun.
