In play we have been:
👣 Using our descriptive language to describe what monsters look like.
👣 Finding the differences and similarities between monsters.
👣 Sorting monsters according to their size and features.
👣 Using a mix of play dough and different materials to create crazy monsters.
👣 Creating monster traps for our monsters that have escaped.
👣 Reading lots of monster stories and learning that some monsters can be friendly but others are unfriendly.
👣 Used the puppet theatre to imagine what conversations monsters might have. There were lots of hungry monsters in P2!
