We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our girls' hockey team has qualified for the McCloy Cup, securing first place in the qualifiers at Cookstown High School! 🏆 The girls showcased incredible skill and determination, remaining unbeaten throughout their group matches and playing outstanding hockey both in attack and defence.
In the semi-finals, they faced a tough Killyman Primary School team and emerged victorious with a hard-fought 1-0 win. The final was another intense match against Woods Primary School, where our girls triumphed with a fantastic 3-0 victory! 🎉 This is a remarkable achievement, and the girls were an absolute pleasure to watch on the day.
We now look forward to the McCloy Cup finals day in Belfast on April 8th. A big shoutout to Woods Primary School for also qualifying for the finals. Thank you to Ulster Hockey for organising the event, to all the umpires, and to the other teams and coaches.
