Another busy week in Nursery
This week in Nursery we have been very busy.
We are still very interested in penguins and we had lots of fun matching the penguins into their pairs. There has also been lots of lovely penguin art work and even a book about penguins produced this week. We loved using our board to find out some penguins facts - we couldn't believe the noises that penguins make!
We have been thinking about our fine motor skills to help strengthen our fingers to get ready for writing.
- we have been stretching elastic bands over cup holders and a weaving loom
- we have been turning bolts on screws
- we have been balancing the loose parts to make constructions
We have also been learning about patterns and making our own two part repeating patterns.
We all enjoyed silly hair day, raising money for Mid Ulster First Responders.
On Friday we got a lovely surprise when Mr Cheevers came over to present us with a special certificate for making him smile and telling the best stories about everything that is happening in Nursery. Thank you Mr Cheevers we are glad that the Nursery superstars brighten your day. We love when you come to visit Nursery.
