On Monday 7th November P3 went early morning shopping to Cookstown Tesco!
They were investigating where foods come from and learning about the importance of eating foods on the Eat Well plate.
They sampled some fruit and cheese and then visited the busy Tesco Bakery where the pancake mix was being made.
Afterwards they were allowed inside the giant fridge and freezer, although not for long as it was freezing!
They also saw the loading bay where the lorries deliver the food and the warehouse where all the food is stored.
We all had great fun and didn't spend a penny! Thank you Charley for taking us on the Farm to Fork trail.
