A massive congratulations to Gabriel in Year 6 who took part in the Eco Speak 2024 Competition in Burnavon Arts Centre today.
Gabriel had to demonstrate how he would tackle the problem of litter in the Mid Ulster area, including prevention and managing litter; what different elements of litter are most common, and the wider environmental problems associated with this.
He also had to encourage others to litter less and be more environmentally conscious. This was all based on the theme, 'Don't mess up Mid Ulster!'
Gabriel spoke with great confidence and knowledge on the topic and should be applauded for a fantastic effort. He was presented with a certificate, a goodie bag and a bag of compost.
