Once again the children in P3 have been keen to find out about local birds. They developed their observation skills through drawing birds and taking part in the Big Schools Birdwatch. They made the birds some bird cake and watched them feed at the bird feeders. They then compared local birds to penguins and researched information books and the internet to find out lots of interesting facts. They also made 3D shape penguins and clay models. Finally they worked together in groups to make ebooks about their birdwatching experience using Book Creator.
