An Creagan Christmas - Sharing from the Start
The Nursery had lots of fun on their Christmas Sharing from the Start trip to An Creagan with St. Peter's.
We started the day with hot chocolate and biscuits before we got down to work. Peter read us a book all about a little Robin. She was very kind and gave all her vests away to the animals in the woods. We then threaded cranberries, raisins, popcorn, pasta and Cheerios onto wire to make birdfeeders for the birds in winter.
Next we went outside to put the birdfeeders on a Christmas tree so all the birds at an Creagan would have some yummy food to eat during the winter.
Finally we went on an adventure through the wild woods to find the little robin's vests. When we had found them all we brought the vests back to Santa. Santa gave us a special wooden star to place on each child's Christmas tree so when Santa visits the children's houses he will remember that they were one of his special helpers.
A big thank you to all the parents who came to help us and An Creagan for a brilliant day.
