🌟 What a Brilliant Week to End Our Half Term! 🌟

25th Oct 2024

This week has been incredibly busy with lots happening both inside and outside the classroom. It was the final week of clubs for this term, and the children continued to learn new skills and have fun with their friends. Don’t forget to book for clubs for Term 1B—some are close to selling out, so make sure to secure your spot!

Ronan continued his visits to the Nursery, where the children had a blast investigating the wind. We can’t wait for Ronan to return in November!

A huge well done to our football team, who secured second place in the indoor tournament at Cookstown Leisure Centre on Tuesday. The skills on display were amazing, and the children did our school proud.

Our PSG held a fantastic Half Term Disco on Thursday night. Thank you to all the PSG members for a memorable evening and to Mervyn for providing the entertainment. The children looked fantastic in their fancy dress!

We also had our Pupil of the Month Awards on Thursday, with Mr. Mayne, Chair of the Board of Governors, presenting the awards. Mr. Mayne was also recognised for his dedicated service to our Board of Governors and was presented with gifts on behalf of the school and the Board of Governors.

Primary 5 performed a wonderful assembly based on being unique and special on Thursday. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, Primary 5! Your message was a really important one

We also celebrated our Excellent 8 with the following targets being met:

  • Nursery, P1 & P2: ⭐ I tidy up after myself.
  • P3 & P4: ⭐ I organise my belongings.
  • P5, P6 & P7: ⭐ I show leadership skills.

You are all stars in the making!

Have a lovely half term break, and we will see you on Monday, 4th November.
