A huge congratulations to our boys' hockey team for their fantastic performance at the Pearson Cup qualifiers held at Cookstown High School today! The boys played six group games, winning five and losing just one, securing second place in the table.
Throughout the group stages, they showcased excellent hockey skills, working tirelessly in defense and sharing the goals among the attacking players. In the semi-final against Moneymore PS, the match ended in a tense 0-0 draw, leading to a nail-biting run-in. Unfortunately, the boys narrowly lost 2-1 in this intense encounter.
However, they bounced back in the match for third place against Donahgey Primary School, scoring in the last minute to clinch the win in a very close match.
Well done to all the boys for their great sportsmanship and hard work during the tournament. We are incredibly proud of you all! 👏🎉
