What an incredible effort from our boys at Stormont for the Pearson Cup today! 🎉 In a tight group, the boys showed determination and played some lovely hockey, but faced tough opposition. Their first two games ended in narrow 1-0 losses, but they kept their spirits high and battled hard. 💪
In their third game, they took on a strong Strandtown team and earned a well-deserved draw after an impressive comeback. Although the next two games ended in narrow defeats, they gave it their all and represented our school with pride. While they were unable to qualify for the plate, their hard work and commitment shine brighter than any trophy. 🌟
We are immensely proud of the boys and all their efforts throughout the tournament and the year. They are a talented group and have been an absolute pleasure to coach. 👏
A huge thank you to R Johnston and Sons for sponsoring our brand-new kits, which the boys proudly wore for the first time today. They look absolutely amazing! 💙💛 And of course, our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. McGowan for her incredible coaching and support this year—you’ve been instrumental in guiding this talented team.
