David Ames, who played for the Great Britain Men's Hockey team in the Rio Olympics 2016, paid a visit to our school today. He presented the Principal with a GB shirt and visited the classrooms to chat to the boys and girls and answer their questions and sign autographs. As you would expect from David, he had plenty of time for everyone and spoke modestly about his achievements. We wish him every success as he chases a place in the 2020 Olympics squad in Tokyo.
