When we arrived in Nursery on 1st December we discovered some very exciting things - some carrots, a half eaten biscuit, a snowy boot print and that our story room had been wrapped up in Christmas paper!
After some detective work the children decided that Santa and his reindeer had been to visit Nursey overnight and had eaten some of the carrot sticks we have for snack!
We unwrapped the story room and found that Santa had left two presents and a giant card. The card said that Santa had left Elfie the Elf in Nursery and that every school day Elfie would bring us a different Christmas activity to complete.
The first was an art activity to make thumb print reindeer baubles. We loved getting our fingers in the paint and using the glitter glue to decorate our reindeers.
I wonder what Elfie will bring on Monday..?
