Easter Egg Hunt and Assembly

21st Apr 2017

P3 had great excitement  hunting for Easter eggs around the school grounds.

They all found eggs with a number on the back. These were then counted to find the top scorers. Have a look for the top egg hunters proudly wearing their medals!

The children also performed the  'Easter Song' in an Easter Assembly which reminded us of the message of hope of a new life through Jesus Christ.

They heard about Mary hunting to find Jesus after she saw the open tomb and how happy she was when she saw Jesus alive again! Afterwards the children made decorative crosses as a symbol of this hope.

Miss Black has now completed her placement so we said farewell to her in Assembly. We thanked her very much for her help and wished her well for the future.
