Caring for the World Assembly

14th Oct 2018

The theme for our Assembly was learning about caring for the world and everything in it.

All the children in P3 acted out a story based on a book called ‘The Catalogue’ about three mountains who ordered some animals because they were lonely.  They loved having the cats, squirrels and rabbits but soon felt very selfish as they hadn’t ordered them any food. They quickly ordered food and some other things to keep them happy and in return one of the cats decided to order the mountains some cosy blankets to keep them warm! Well done to all the Narrators and actors!

This story reminds us that we can enjoy the wonderful world we live in but in return we need to care for it. Miss Bates reminded the whole school about the work of Eco-Schools around the world and how it is our duty to care for the one world! 🌍
